Laser gas analyzer SITRANS SL

SIEMENS >With the new SITRANS SL, Siemens maintains the technical advantages of the tunable diode laser in the original fiber optic system and analyzes it as close to the process as possible. The revolution in this technology is the integration of a reference gas treasure into the sensor, which allows the laser to lock on to the concentration of the process gas independently. SITRANS SL is stable in operation, ignores drift values and extends maintenance intervals. These features make the SITRANS SL a good in-situ laser gas analyzer. SITRANS SL features a compact analysis unit and a robust design. and enhanced communication capabilities.

BENEFITS:
  • Low investment.
  • High LEL system performances.
  • High safety in printed area.
  • Fast response time.
  • Long term stability and high linearity.
  • Long system warranty.
  • Easy and fast installation.
  • Low maintenance effort due to its wear-resistant design.
  • Very robust and long life time.
  • Most suitable analyzer for a wide range of solvents.
Product Details:

Thanks to the laser diode technology, the SITRANS SL in-situ analyzer provides precise measurements. The sensors (transmitter and receiver) are simply mounted directly on the monitored process gas pipeline without the need for a sampling system. The laser is emitted from the emitter and passes through the process gas in the measuring section to the detector at the receiving end. The measurement will be carried out online in a short time, effectively saving costs in process control. The intrinsic properties of the laser determine that a single spectrum can be undisturbed. Because the bandwidth of the laser is particularly narrow, only gas components with absorption spectra that coincide with it can react (absorption). Due to the excellent compensation inherent in laser technology, interference from other sources, such as dust and temperature, can be easily removed. The built-in reference cell in-line is filled with interference-free reference gases and is a further development of the existing advantages of Siemens TDL (Tunable Diode Laser) technology, eliminating the need for manual self-calibration and low maintenance requirements, providing an ideal solution for the customer.
